The position plays a crucial part in organizations that rely on technology to support business objectives. This role combines financial management, strategic planning, and portfolio oversight to ensure IT resources are effectively aligned with business priorities. Key Responsibilities: Evaluate and prioritize IT projects based on business value, risk, and resource requirements. Align IT initiatives with organizational goals and strategies. Monitor the performance of the IT project portfolio, ensuring it delivers expected outcomes. Budgeting and Financial Oversight: Develop and manage the IT budget, including capital and operational expenses. Track expenditures and forecast future budget needs. Ensure financial compliance and cost optimization in IT investments. Governance and Compliance: Establish processes for reviewing and approving IT investments. Maintain oversight to ensure IT initiatives adhere to organizational policies and regulations. Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with business leaders to identify IT needs and prioritize investments. Serve as a bridge between IT and finance teams. Communicate the value and progress of IT initiatives to stakeholders. Assess risks associated with IT projects and implement mitigation strategies. Monitor the health of IT investments to preempt potential issues. Qualifications: Proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. Clear articulation of technical concepts and financial insights to diverse audiences. Understanding IT systems, enterprise architecture, and emerging technologies. Ability to align IT initiatives with long-term business objectives. Demonstrated ability to evaluate complex data and make strategic decisions. Familiarity with frameworks like Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall. Familiarity with Portfolio Management Tools (e. g. , Microsoft, ServiceNow, Smart Sheet), Financial Management Software (e. g. , SAP, DDM, SAC), and Business Intelligence Tools (e. g. , Power BI) is essential. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Fluency in English is essential.
