It Support Specialist
The IT Support Specialist is an intermediate level role responsible for providing IT support to end users including PCs, trading turret, telephony, network devices, corporate smartphones, collaboration tools, market data services, relevant technical guidance and security in coordination with the global Technology Infrastructure support teams.
The overall objective is to use infrastructure technology knowledge and identified policies to process requests, resolve issues and execute administrative tasks.
Due to the businesses based in Milan a strong customer focus and experience is required.
**Responsibilities**:
- Diagnose and resolve problems through evaluative judgment, troubleshooting and analysis
- Ensure successful completion of data loads and batch processing
- Participate in testing activities, including the creation and execution of basic test scripts
- Execute project plan task
- Participate in control activities (risk, self-assessment, COB, audit, etc. )
and make recommendations for enhancements
- Evaluate issues using existing procedures or similar/related experiences; recommend and implement solutions
- Exchange ideas and information in a concise and clear manner
- Keeping the asset management system up to date, assessing all new equipment as well as carrying out periodic stock take of equipment onsite
- Assisting in ordering new equipment
- Supporting on-site audio-video equipment throughout the office
Qualifications:
- Experience in a Technology Infrastructure role
- Service minded attitude with a strong interest in working directly with users
- Ability to work with virtual and in-person teams, and work under pressure or to a deadline
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, fluent in both English and Italian.
- Ability to follow, update or create documentation.
- Effective analytic/diagnostic skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365.
- Experience using ticketing systems.
- ITIL certification desirable.

- Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience
