We are looking for an IT System Engineer to perform the following activities:Technical installation, configuration and troubleshooting activitiesOn-demand production of documentation: operational, configurational (standard)On-demand production of Route Cause analysisPerformance tuning and capacity activitiesSupport to the Change team for infrastructure solutions implemented during the projectSupport to the Engineering team for the design of IT solutionsSupporting the RUN team for incident resolution, specialised technical analysis or the production of documented incident reportsWhat are we looking for in you?

Experience and competenciesKnowledge of backup software, in particular Commvault is mandatoryDeep knowledge of Linux and Windows platformsKnowledge of networking and debugging conceptsDeep knowledge of VMware and Hyper-V virtualisation systems (installing, running and debugging)Knowledge of scripting and automationKnowledge of protocols and storage systems, especially for virtualisation purposesKnowledge of hardware platforms (various vendors desirable) and the physical part of individual componentsKnowledge of complex network systems (switching and routing)Problem solvingGoal-oriented approachTeamworkWhy would you take the plunge?
