It User Support Junior
Position Summary:
The function of the IT User Support Junior is to provide technology related support in an office environment, including the deployment, administration and/or support of technology systems essential to the day-to-day business operations.
The IT User Support Junior works as part of a team directed jointly by an IT User Support Specialist, IT User Support Manager or other technology department leader and the Business Director.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Computer Hardware and Software support
- Assist in maintaining a computer hardware asset inventory.
- Setting up workstations and office moves.
- Conference Room Services: Video conferencing, AV setups and set-ups
- Tracking user support requests
- Proactively interacts with the Helpdesk and local users to identify unreported or repetitive problems.
- Coordinating with IT vendors
- Gain an understanding of the business, learning to escalate more complex issues to advanced support service teams, follow-up, and communications to end user.
- Gain an understanding of local and global security controls
- Plus all other Adhoc IT requests and projects.
Skills & Competencies:
- Very good English skills.
Verbal and written
- Knowledge and confidence of the Windows 11 operating system.
- Knowledge using the Microsoft O365 Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Basic/Intermediate troubleshooting skills related to desktop computer hardware and software, demonstrating the ability to quickly resolve moderately complex issues or suggest alternative solutions.
- Gain an understanding of our incident management tool (Ivanti)
- Gain an understanding of using and troubleshooting video conference meetings (e. g.
Zoom, MS Teams, etc. )
and AV equipment, Crestron or similar.
- Attention to detail and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment in order to achieve business goals and objectives.
- Learn customer service skills including the ability to understand both internal and external client needs and expectations to provide excellent service.
- Ability to establish and maintain productive working relationships with all levels of staff, including attorneys, peers and other departments.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to convey information clearly in both written and verbal communication.
- Must demonstrate a personal willingness and ability to effectively work in and adapt to a changing environment.
Qualifications & Prior Experience:
- Professional client facing experience is preferred.
Confidence and willingness to learn is key to standing out and succeeding in this exciting role.

- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to move from work station or desk, throughout the work area to work independently or with a team, to meet with colleagues or supervisor and retrieve work assignments
- This position may also be sedentary and require the employee to sit for extended periods of time
- Requires manual dexterity to dial a telephone, enter data into a computer, handle objects and operate tools.
- Some lifting will be required especially when performing office moves or meeting room setups
