Job Description We are looking for our Milan office, an experienced accounting professional with a solid technical foundation and in-depth knowledge of the field.     What You'll Do: Manage all accounting activities, including General Accounting, AP, AR, tax compliance, asset management, cash management, and closing processes, ensuring adherence to IFRS and local GAAP standards.

Supervise and coordinate the activities of Mazars' external accounting teams (Barcelona and Milan), ensuring seamless and efficient collaboration.

Reconcile intercompany transactions, ensuring compliance with transfer pricing agreements and the group's policies.

Analyze and report monthly financial data, identifying key variances and providing clear, solution-oriented insights to meet strict deadlines.

Lead all audits, including statutory, tax, and internal audits, ensuring accuracy and timely completion in collaboration with external specialists.

Build and optimize accounting infrastructure by streamlining, automating, and standardizing month-end and year-end processes.

Act as the local finance point of reference, providing support to colleagues and resolving financial and accounting issues.

Support FP&A activities, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and data management within group tools (e. g. , SAP and AfO).

    Qualifications What You'll Bring to the Role: A degree in Accounting or equivalent, with advanced knowledge of IFRS and local GAAP standards.

At least 5 years of experience in accounting management roles, preferably in multinational companies, with expertise in SAP (R3 or S4).

English proficiency (Spanish/French are a plus) Strong technical skills in accounting and controlling, with a compliance-driven mindset for working in regulated environments.

The ability to work independently, prioritize effectively under tight deadlines, and manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of connecting financial and business dynamics to propose actionable insights.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across all levels of the organization and with international teams.

A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and a strong sense of ownership.

(Preferred) Experience with external service providers, FP&A processes, and a customer-centric approach to supporting organizational goals.
