The Group is headquartered in Bologna, Italy. - Our Italian Sales Team is looking for a Key Account Manager for the retail industry.
**Main responsibilities & Tasks**:
- Be the preferred Interface for the Customers and Resellers in the Retail industry due to the high and recognized knowledge in Auto ID
- Manage the Customer Relationship knowing Customer's Organizational structure, decision processes and Key Decisions Makers for the different Solutions/Products
- Build up long term relationships to Customers and partners
- Engage the appropriate level in the Customer Organization to understand the needs and correctly position Datalogic Offering
- Sell Industry Solutions/Products at entry and premium price
- Provide high level inputs about the customer needs to the Industry and Product Marketing Managers
- Identify, classify and manage Leads/Opportunities/Alliances assigning the right priority to the sales activities, working with the Customers
- Identify the needs of Special Product Requests (SPRs) engaging the Datalogic Technical Community and prioritizing Customer Technical Support activities
- Contribute to Product Launches and Field Marketing activities
- Fulfill sales assigned quota
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor or Master degree in engineering or in Business administration with affinity with IT related businesses
- Fluency in Italian and English
- 2+ years of experience in a similar role
- Attention to details, flexibility and creativity
- Proactivity, willingness to travel
- Ability to work in a dynamic team and in a complex environment
- Problem solving attitude, open minded
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
