ITALY SALES CONTROLLER PARTNER (Temporary)

ABOUT THE JOB

In this role, you will be reporting to to the SALES CONTROLLER & CREDIT MANAGER SOUTH EUROPE.

As the business partner of the Country Manager Italy, you will measure the economic performance of the Italian Sales Unit, guarantee business analysis to support the Italian sales organization, and serve as a member of the leadership team of the Italian sales organization.

Please note this is a maternity coverage.

ABOUT YOUR TASKS

- Margins and volumes analysis consolidating and analyzing results for the Management

- Prepare sales reporting to support sales team (areas, key accounts, brands)

- Perform month end accrual based on business knowledge

- Coordinate the closing process together with accounting/reporting structures

- Perform analysis of margins and calculate year-end bonuses according to commercial organization structure

- Align with Regional and BA controlling to respect Business Area's processes request (Budget, Forecast, etc.

)

- Analyzing financial performances, proposing and implementing actions to support strategy

- Ensuring control and compliance with Group & Business Area standards and policies

- Improving payback analysis from financial point of view on all business decisions being a member of a leadership team of the Italian sales organization

- Ensuring effective management of working capital working closely with company credit manager

- Analyze business operations, contractual commitments and follow up projects from economical point of view

- Prepare budget with local team and central management and follow up the evolution of actual results compared to budgeted targets

- Responsible for the reporting according to Group requirements (provision calculation, accruals at month end closing, reconciliation of key profit and loss account etc.

)

ABOUT YOU

- Graduated in business administration or similar

- Minimum 5 year experience in controlling in international environment or equivalent

- Good IT knowledge of international ERP systems like SAP or JDE and office pack

- Familiar with BI tools, such as Qlik View.

- Teamwork attitude with leadership capabilities within a global and multi-function environment, with ability to interface at all organizational levels

- Solid understanding of accounting principles for financial analysis purposes

- Good understanding of the overall business processes (operations, sales, business segments, marketing)

- Business exposure and availability to travel and open to programs of international mobilityFluent in spoken and written Italian and English
