Italy Sales Manager

Your Mission As the Italy Sales Manager , you will drive business growth in a market valued, with a projected annual growth rate of 10% over the next five years.
This role primarily focuses on the wine sector, with opportunities to expand into spirits.
You will manage a portfolio of over 1, 000 clients, ranging from small wineries to key market players.
Your Key Responsibilities Client Development & Sales Management Prospect and acquire new business accounts (50% travel required).
Manage and grow existing accounts, including forecasting, order management, and new product development (NPD).
Promote and sell Saverglass' wine and spirits bottles and decorative solutions.
Support clients in the design and development of proprietary bottles.
Negotiate pricing, supply agreements, and payment terms.
Strategic & Operational Impact Conduct market analysis to identify new opportunities and develop sales strategies.
Collaborate with internal teams, including Sales Administration, Supply Chain, Quality, and Marketing.
Provide monthly reports on activity, market trends, project updates, and forecasts.
Industry Engagement Build strong professional relationships across the wine and spirits industry, including suppliers, design agencies, and accessory vendors.
Represent Saverglass at industry events, trade shows, and client presentations.
What We're Looking For Qualifications Minimum 5 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in packaging or the wine and spirits industry.
Knowledge of glass packaging or related supplies (e. g. , corks, labels, capsules).
Proven track record of acquiring and managing key accounts, including distributors.
Experience in sales with a technical dimension (e. g. , product development, quality assurance).
Fluent in English; French is a plus.
Key Skills & Traits Self-starter with the ability to work autonomously while maintaining strong internal collaboration.
Skilled in market analysis, strategic planning, and implementation.
Adept at relationship building and negotiating with stakeholders at all levels.
Proficient in CRM tools (Oracle CRM On Demand) and MS Office, particularly Excel.
Additional Requirements Based in Northern Italy (preferably Milan).
Comfortable with regular travel within Italy and occasional travel abroad.
