Italy System Engineering Manager
Job Responsibilities: The OCM will have the responsibility for designing, coordinating and improving the System Engineering Unit project carried out by the relevant System Engineering Team within RINA Space and Defence Business Unit. The OCM will manage the System engineering portfolio competences required to obtain new contracts, renew existing contracts, and deliver the relevant contractual end-service. In addition, the OCM will have the responsibility for enhancing existing performance by developing and implementing a strategy for the System Engineering competence center, working strictly in coordination with the Business Development Manager / Sales Manager to evaluate and prepare for relevant opportunities. Finally, the OCM will manage System Engineering unit budgets and invoices, prepare monthly reports on System Engineering competence center performance (e. g. hours / budget / revenues / invoice), and develop industry partnerships following RINA standards, processes, and regulations.
Minimum Requirements: At least five years of experience in project development and management, R&D project management and / or strategic competence development is required. Strong project management skills, including organization and attention to detail, are necessary. Financial literacy to understand budgets / invoices / revenues and financial statements in general is important. Excellent knowledge of all System Engineering principles (e. g. V model, technical documentation (SSS, Tracing and managing of requirements using DOORS), knowledge of Model-Based System Engineering, Design of complex systems, DOORS) is expected. Experience in integration and validation of systems / subsystems (including test reports) is required. Knowledge of main used standards in System Engineering (e. g. MIL-498, ECSS, etc. ) is essential. The ability to work independently and prioritize duties, as well as excellent interpersonal skills, is necessary. Excellent analytical, research, reasoning, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities are also important. Proficiency in Italian and English written and oral communication skills is expected. The candidate should develop and maintain teamwork with all staff members in a trustful, respectful, and cooperative work environment.

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering General or Electronic / TLC Engineering.
