For an international Food Ingredients Distributor, we are looking for a
Technical Sales Manager Food Ingredients You will sell Food Ingredients to the Food and Beverage Industry in Italy. The position will be home office-based.
Responsibilities Analyze the market and the product range of our suppliers to find new potentials. Responsible for making market strategy, purchasing, and selling of assigned product groups in Italy. Build a close relationship with our suppliers and customers. Visit customers, analyze their needs, and create value propositions. Participate in production trials at the customer and implementation of small-scale trials in the application kitchen. Project management in close cooperation with the responsible Customer Service Manager. Align the sales strategy for the product groups of the suppliers with the help of the Category Managers and the Country Manager. Benefit from numerous pieces of training (internal and abroad) every year. Discover and understand customer needs and develop tailor-made solutions. Conduct lab, small-scale, or industrial trials with customers. Follow up on offers, payments, etc. Develop and execute Sales Budget and forecasts. Requirements Degree in Food Technology (Must have). Ability to solve technological problems and passion for food product development. Exceptionally good communication, negotiation, and analytical skills. High willingness to travel. Very organized, reliable, and positive thinking. Very good knowledge of Italian and English (fluent in spoken and written) (Must have). Valid driving license (Must have).
