We are seeking an IV&V Engineer to join our team in Rome, Italy, and work in a full-time, permanent position with a hybrid working style.

Main ResponsibilitiesGround Segment and subsystems verification plans definitions, maintenance, and controlCarry out Assembly, Integration, and Verification of Ground Segment and subsystems at all levelsInterfacing with all subsystems and relevant teams during AIV phasesSupport to operational and pre-operational phasesAuthoring of Technical documentationContribute to ILS team process improvements and achievement of departmental goalsCreate comprehensive maintenance plans for complex systemsDevelop strategies for the long-term sustainability of systemsEnsure communication plan, escalation plan, and product roadmaps are documented and agreed by clientEnsure that safety protocols are followed at all timesEnsure that system configurations are accurately documented and controlledEvaluate system reliability and suggest improvementsHandle warranties and claims for faulty equipment or componentsImplement quality control measures for system componentsOptimize the application for scalability and performanceOversee the logistics of spare parts and materialsOrganize training programs for operators and maintenance personnelPrepare reports on system performance, maintenance activities, and cost analysesProvide support for the full life cycle of software product developmentRevision of the Personnel Plan and Training Plan documentsProvisioning/procurement such as spares, consumablesSupport equipment such as tools to be used, test equipmentSupport facilities and maintenance (ground) activities such as spares, repair managementGround Segment availability analysisDocumentation and ILS analysis (such as LSA) supportSoftware supportSuccessful CandidateBetween 3 - 5 years of working experience in the relevant fieldUniversity degree, preferably in the fields of Aerospace/Space Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering, or Computer Science and EngineeringKnowledge of System Engineering and System-level knowledge of all Ground Segment subsystemsProficient in working in a Linux environment and hardware virtualized environmentLogistics and Supply Chain Management & Technical Documentation ManagementStrong Analytical and problem-solving skillsProactive attitude and ability to work in a teamFull professional proficiency in the English language is mandatoryHigh motivation, proactive working approach, and strong sense of responsibilityExperience in ECSS AIV processRelocation: Rome's central location in Italy offers excellent transportation links within the city and across the country. The city is well-connected by a network of highways and railways, with Ciampino Airport or Fiumicino, providing convenient access to international destinations.
