Janssen Italy has an open position within the Global Demand and In-Market Supply Chain, part of Planning and Customer Management in the Janssen Supply Chain (JSC): the In-Market Supply Chain Planner.
Tactical responsibilities:
- Captures tactical affiliate business opportunities and makes sure they are brought to the attention of JSC management organization.
- Acts as the local arm of JSC to deploy new added value initiatives aiming at increasing the market competitiveness of Janssen companies.
Operational responsibilities:
- Manages forecast and replenishment (using OMP) to Italian warehouses for approximately 100 SKUs, with a mix between Dynamic Champions, Core and Value Optimizers for non-narcotic products, including scenario planning
- Manages and plans timely and cost-effective supply of his/her portfolio based upon product life cycle stage and market demand variations
- Manages, plans and initiates import and export licenses for the full Italian narcotic portfolio.
Monitors expiry dates of licenses
- Develops weekly shipping schedules and creates delivery notes for Italy
- Manages New Artwork Implementation Planning and Shelf-Life Planning
- Proactively alerts local company and EMEA about required escalations or potential supply chain disruptions.
Follows up with corrective actions.
Reports and explains stock-outs
- Communicates with manufacturing sites to ensure un-interrupted supply to the markets
- Supports, advises, and executes plans for New Product Introduction
- Supports, proposes, and executes plans for Product Portfolio Rationalization
- Collaborates with local stakeholders (mainly Commercial and Customer Service) to find solutions for increasing sales where there is excess stock, to avoid SLOB and destructions
- Initiates repackaging activities to reduce destructions due to artwork (SLOB avoidance) when needed
- Maintains Master Data Planning Parameters for ERP (SAP) and Planning System (OMP)
- Monitors actual sales vs. forecast, and initiates dialogue with Mfg.
plants when needed
- Monitors KPIs for his/her product portfolio, proposing and executing corrective actions
- Acts in compliance with Janssen policies an releated systems (e, g Summit trainings) and Janssen Travel and Expenses guidelines
- Drives and facilitates the monthly Consensus Demand Review Meetings at local level with Commercial, Finance and BI for alignment of the Consensus Demand Forecast and the financial plans.
Reviews gaps between finance and consensus demand forecast.
Discusses business assumptions with risks and opportunities.
Collects information from several functions and prepares material for the meeting.
Responsible to take minutes of meetings and follow up on action/decision log.
- Provides insights to the EMEA Demand Manager regarding market scenarios, business assumptions, risks, and opportunities
**Qualifications
- Has a University Degree, or at least three years of relevant experience
- Great E2E understanding and business acumen.
Collaborates across functions and organizational levels to achieve better results for Janssen (R&D, Finance, Commercial Deliver, Business Quality, Regulatory, Customer Service, Pricing & Reimbursement, Market Access etc.
)
- Strong knowledge of English and Italian (B2+)
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven skills in leadership, change management and project management
- Highly developed data mining skills in combination with an exceptional analytic mindset
- Has an open and curious mindset and happily shares and discusses ideas.
Displays innovative thinking and ask questions to understand more and explore opportunities across organizational borders (Global, EMEA, LOC) to identify improvements in the flow of products to customers and patients
- Has the necessary IT skills (MS Office, SAP, OMP, Tableau, QlikView etc. )
