About the job We are looking for a talented Software Engineer to join our core products international software development team.

Responsibilities: Partner with product leads and designers to develop reliable and well tested backend software Design and implementation of new GeoServer/GeoTools features Performance of day-by-day bug fixing Minimum qualifications: 3+ years of experience Good knowledge of Java Enterprise Good Knowledge of Spring Framework Good knowledge of relational databases, PostgreSQL is a must, Oracle a plus Ability to adapt and learn new skills quickly Being fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Preferred qualifications: Experience in designing and implementing scalable systems for highly concurrent loads Knowledge of distributed systems and related key technologies is a plus (e. g.

Kafka) Knowledge of GeoServer and GeoTools is a plus More on qualifications: You are comfortable working independently, while functioning as part of a dynamic team that values collaboration, dialogue, development, learning, and growth.

We offer a variety of contracts but, please, note that our intention is to establish a long-term relationship.

We are a remote first company, however the ideal candidate should work from a time zone between GMT and GMT+2.

Relocation is not requested and as such we are not envisioning any relocation support package.

During the interview process we are going to ask the candidate to solve some simple exercise to demonstrate your skills and capabilities.
