**Job Description**:

We are currently seeking a Piping and Layout Lead with responsabilities in acquiring and understanding the Project goals from Contract, specific documentation and the kick-off meeting and Setsup the procedure for control of Discipline activities.

Requirements:

- Bachelors Degree in Engineering, with at least 12 years of overall industry experience;

- Practical work experience of minimum 12 years in piping engineering to demonstrate as experienced piping engineer;

- At least 1 project as lead piping engineer in multi discipline engineering team in Oil and Gas sector;

- Ability to understand the technical requirements of the Offshore Platforms.

(Process / wellhead / FPSO / FLNG etc.

);

- Ability to understand the criticality and importance of Importante Azienda and weight aspects in an Offshoreenvironment;

- Should be familiar with various API and other international standards pertaining to Offshore;

- Understand the criticality of material handling and Human Factor Engineering aspects at Offshore;

- Knowledge and experience with various ASME/ API/ NEMA/ TEMA/ ASTM, and IS codes and standards as well as various PMC standards;

- Field execution experience will be an added advantage;

- Understanding of the functioning of 3D modelling tools like PDS / PDMS / SP3D and their associated softwares;

- Should have a sound knowledge of work processes involving latest engineering tools and shall have the flare to improve work processes by taking improvement initiative Proficient in 3D model review in SPR / Navisworks;

- Fluent in English Language.

Duties and Responsibilities:

The job holder must perform the following tasks:

- Plans and schedules assigned work and determine staffing needs to meet the project milestones.

Responsible for all activities related to piping design/ procurement assistance and support to constructionfor the assigned project meeting manhour budget and project schedules.

Responsible for all piping activities including management of plot plans, equipment layouts, 3D modelling of piping and equipment, piping material activities, stress and support engineering activities.

Monitors and reports actual piping progress including 3D modelling and controls men-hours and delivereddocuments.

Provides technical guidance and assigns work to engineers, designers and others who assist in performingspecific assignment.

Independently contacts project personnel, vendors representatives and project field personnel to gather and give information.

Contacts client counterparts as required.

Focal point for piping in multidisciplinary project.

Performs interdisciplinary checks and deploys resources as needed.

Shall have experience in preparation/ review of Design basis, various specifications, design and constructionstandards required for piping design.

Review of vendor offers and selection of technically qualified vendor for piping items.

Preparation of Technical Bid Analysis.

Working with Client/ PMC for resolving the Technical queries, obtaining the necessary technical approvals, etc.

Issue documents/ drawings according to various statutory approval requirements.

Working with the vendors for Kick Off Meetings after the award of the PO, review meetings for discussing the technical queries and the solutions, keeping a track of the vendors activities and the progress.

Review of vendor deliverables to ensure their technical compliance.

Provide necessary inputs to otherdisciplines.

Attending model reviews with client and ensuring closure of comments.

Supporting the proposal efforts for various projects bids

- Maintains project Contract review, KPI, Change Tracking, Schedule Tracking, Productivity and dashboardreporting, Value Engineering, Lesson Learnt etc.

Performs technical audits as and when required.

Prepares, reviews or monitors project controls, cost estimates, quantity take offs and Importante Azienda requirement.

Gives on-the-job training, promotes development of subordinates, evaluates and counsels assigned personnel.
