Johnson & Johnson: Chemical Compliance Professional
Track emerging & changing existing regulations applicable to Janssen, Monitor revised list of (regulated) substances of concern, Perform assessment to map the impact on Janssen operations & products, Define and recommend mitigation measures, Communicate issues, or potential issues, and propose solutions to the relevant teams in a timely manner.
Strategically document the outcomes of the impact assessment and mitigation strategy.
The individual will also be responsible for conducting the screening of substances of concern in new products and manufacturing processes for substances of concern, and for providing strategic guidance to the business on possible solutions.
Additionally, ensuring chemical compliance of sourced chemicals will be a significant aspect of the role, and the individual will be instrumental in advancing the supplier compliance program within Janssen.
As a member of the Janssen Chemical Compliance team, s/he is expected to:
EU REACH, China MEE Or.
12, India Chemicals Management & Safety Rules, South Korean K-REACH, Canada NSNR, Switzerland Chemical Ordinance Basic knowledge of GHS/CLP regulations Proficient use of SAP and Excel is a plus Scientific background in chemistry, tox and/or ecotox Having some experience in the Pharma production is a plus Years of experience 4-6 years Education Masters or equivalent preferred Science degree (chemistry, biology, toxicology, ecotoxicology, engineering, etc)
