Barilla G. & R. Fratelli is looking for a **Junior Account Payable** Italy, within the European Administrative Shared Service Center based in Parma.

**Job Purpose

Perform operations of the account payable team on a daily basis, ensuring timely completion of vendor invoices booking and payment processing.

Assure that all bookings are compliant with EASSC guidelines and with local fiscal and mandatory requirements.

Assure that productivity levels are in compliance with internal targets and actively support development of better ways of performing transactional processes within the team.

**Key Accountabilities

- To performs timely and accurate transactional accounting activities (posting, reconciliation and analysis), through the management of certain processes independently.

- To perform account payable and receivable closing procedure (monthly and year end) assuring that are accomplished according to both managerial and statutory closing deadlines.

- To perform special account payable and fiscal processes, coordinating other area team members.

- To manage vendor enquires answering operating procedures in order to assure reliable answer in a timely manner.

- To perform account reconciliation on a monthly/quarterly basis, proactively discussing reconciliation issues with Transactional Service Leader.

- To support team assignments, workload, training, overall performance.

- To identify and suggest implementation of process and system enhancements to continuously improve A/P and A/R operation and to reduce cost of service.

- To interface with other EASSC teams to ensure compliance with cross-team accountabilities.

- To recognize and communicate potential issues/risks and escalate them to Transactional Service Leader.

- To support internal and external auditing process.

**Key Requirements

- Master's degree in Economics, Accounting or similar

- At least 6 months of working experience in accounting sector / accounts payable or similar units

- Knowledge of SAP will be considered a plus

- Italian and English Fluency

- Team player attitude

- Ability to prioritize and understand business needs

**Additional Information

Fixed term contract (12 month)
