**ABOUT THE ROLE

**In this role, reporting to your responsible, you will deliver a variety of tasks like**:

- General ledger transactions;

- General support to the office organization (organizing and maintaining administrative and account papers, electronic files and documentation, and other related duties);

- Performing bank reconciliations;

- Preparation of intercompany recharge invoices and reconciliation of intercompany balances;

- Assist with the quarterly accounting closing;

- Ensuring that accounting and VAT records are maintained in accordance with accepted policies and procedures;

- Accounts payable and receivable;

- Credit card expenditures control and registration;

- Infra-annual tax compliance;

- Bank postings

**EXPERIENCE AND RELEVANT SKILLS

- A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in general accounting;

- Accounts payable and receivable experience;

- Basic knowledge of International Accounting Standards;

- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point) and as a plus: Shipnet / IMOS / Tagetik;

- Knowledge of the Shipping sector it will be considered a plus;

- Independent use of English language in a working environment in particular English technical/accounting;

- Motivated person, flexible, proactive and strong ability to work in a team;

- Good interpersonal and effective communication skills

- Time management;

- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
