We are looking for a Junior Accountant to join our SSC, reporting directly to the Accounting/SSC Manager Italy.

Accountant's main responsibilities are: Perform accounting tasks to ensure accuracy and compliance (including booking AR and AP invoices, bank reconciliation, Fixed Assets book and depreciation, payments to suppliers)Manage GL accounting, execute and/or record transactions, including needed documentationPrepare monthly account reconciliation to the General LedgersContribute to the preparation of monthly/quarterly/yearly closingPrepare and control Inter Company transactionsPrepare VAT declaration and statutory reports (VAT, Intrastat, F24, Withholding taxes)Contribute to the preparation of annual financial statements for internal and external auditorsSupport the Tax & Accounting manager in preparing Annual Tax information for reviewSupport business controller team in analyzing monthly resultsDrive and monitor compliance with Group and internal policiesProfessional experience and skills: 1-3 years of accounting experience (Accounting consultant experience in a dynamic business will be a plus)Results drivenStrong team playerAble to deal with ambiguity in a complex environmentStrong understanding of Local Accounting Standards and VAT Tax rules (knowledge of US GAAP will be a plus)Good knowledge and hands-on experience with Excel and reporting systems (Oracle will be a plus)Aligned with AniCura's Five PrinciplesFluent in Italian and EnglishAbout Us AniCura shapes the future of veterinary care, together.
