Purpose of the job:

Key Responsibilities:

Cooperation with SSC in the area of accounts payable processing - reviewing journals, checking purchase orders and invoice approvals, posting of overhead purchase invoices, making sure vendors are paid in an accurate and timely manner

Vendor discounts calculations and relates tasks

Posting of outgoing cash transactions

Preparation of data for monthly VAT payments

Intrastat

Supporting the senior accountant as required (payroll, audits, data preparation for margin reviews etc).

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

Self-motivated with a pro-active approach

Communicative personality

English

A knowledge of financial accounting principles and related areas (VAT, Intrastat, Payroll)

EXPERIENCE

Min 2 years in an accounting role, preferably in an international environment

Experience with SAP or another large ERP system is an advantageCOMPETENCIESRelationship Building:

Has the ability to build and maintain a network of business related contacts which will be useful in meeting objectives.

It implies an understanding of customers' and the wider market place and using this knowledge to develop networks and relationships.
