JOB DESCRIPTION TASKSManage and record vendor invoices, banks and credit cards paymentsPost and review general ledger entries and support informationMaintain and update fixed assets ledgerManage balance sheet reconciliation and prepare reporting sheets on a monthly basis and during closingOwn several key monthly closing tasks, including vendor account review, accruals, assets, and prepayments. Work closely with the Controlling team and Procurement team. Safeguard internal controls process through the review of PO details, contract terms, and invoicing. Support the timely reporting of key financial informationManage the Indirect Procurement cycle - PO review, register, and payment. Support in preparing necessary information required for tax compliance purposes (VAT, Income tax, and Withholding tax), and collaborate with the Accounting manager. Prepare and follow up on monthly payments in communication with the Treasury department. Onboard new suppliers (including tax ID and banking validation); identify and cull duplicate or inactive vendors. Ensure compliance with IFRS and local GAAP accounting rules, where applicableParticipate actively in the Audit Process (Interim and yearly audit)Participate in the Implementation of new accounting tools and systemsMUST HAVE skillsYou have a bachelor degree in finance, accounting or economics with a minimum of 1 year of proven experience in a similar role. You have advanced knowledge of Excel and SAP (S/4HANA). You are fluent in English and Italian. You have the ability to work proactively, with a strong aptitude for teamwork and the ability to work independently. You are known for your attention to detail, capable of delivering accurate work on time. You enjoy change and are able to work in a constantly evolving environment. NICE TO HAVE skillsIf you speak Spanish, this is a plus.
