To design buildings that are simple, purposeful, efficient, and beautiful, that are technologically advanced and sensitive to environmental and human needs in line with Ove Arup's vision for 'Total Architecture'.
Our projects span various sectors, including transport, sport, science and industry, commercial buildings, and social infrastructure. The OpportunityBecome part of the thriving architecture team at Arup office in Milan whose projects such as Florence Stadium Renovation or MSG Arena are shaping the contemporary architecture scene of the region. Being part of a team participating in sport and entertainment design, scientific and industrial/technological projects, mixed use masterplans and many other diverse projects working alongside experts in the field. As a Junior Architect at Arup, you will:Provide strong design support from concept stage and through all stages of project development. Support a "Total Architecture" approach in multidisciplinary projects. Work flexibly on projects in different sectors (Science, Industry and Technology, Property, Sport, Renovation and Master planning). Contribute to support the growth and development of the architecture team. Does this role inspire you? We're looking for a junior architect who is passionate about medium and big scale complex projects of different typologies in Italy and abroad, designed by a diverse multidisciplinary team of professionals. We value:Candidates with Master's degree in architectureCandidates with 2 years of experience post qualification. Good design flair with both creative and analytical skillsGood interpersonal, presentation and communication skills (including formal and informal presentations, written communications, and reports) essential for team-based workingKnowledge and good experience of relevant CAD software applications such as Revit, Autocad, 3D modelling software such as Rhino/SketchupKnowledge in visualisation software such as Lumion, Enscape, V-Ray and 3D Studio Max and AI generated images. Grasshopper or code in Python or similar (desired but not essential)The ability to draw by hand (desired but not essential)Interest and ability in digital, sustainability and climate change resilience workSkills to use Adobe Suite software (i. e.
