RINA is currently recruiting for a Junior Bridge Designer to join its office in Genoa or Rozzano, Italy within the Infrastructure Division.
MissionThe candidate will join the team of Road and Bridge Design within the BU Infrastructure.
Job ResponsibilitiesPrepare finite element bridge models considering the applicable Italian and International codes. Analysis and design of bridges and viaducts (steel-concrete composite bridges, concrete bridges). Assessment and retrofit of existing bridges. Prepare the technical specifications for in-situ material testing. Coordinate and assist the draft men in the development of the drawings and BIM models. Review of drawings. Prepare technical calculation reports. Desired Skills and Experience:0-3 years of experience in structural and bridge design. Hold a MSc in Civil Engineering with specialization in Structural Design. Have basic knowledge of the Italian and International Technical Codes for bridge design (NTC2018, Eurocodes, American Codes). Have basic knowledge in SAP2000, Midas Civil. Have deep knowledge in dynamic and seismic analysis. Have basic knowledge in English. EducationBachelor's Degree in Engineering General. Master's Degree in Civil Engineering or Statistics.
