On behalf of our Client, a global biopharmaceutical company, IQVIA is looking for a Junior Business Analyst to join an exciting working environment in a dynamic atmosphere.

An exciting opportunity for a recent graduate from scientific faculties (i. e. , Engineering, Economics, Informatics) to join the Italian Analytics & Commercial Excellence Department as a junior specialist dedicated to data collection, analysis, visualization, and reporting.

This role is designed for a positive and open-minded candidate with strong analytical skills, a clear-thinking approach, and a motivation for cross-functional collaboration and teamwork.

The candidate should be proactive and willing to continue learning.

Location: Office-based – Milan

RESPONSIBILITIES: As an Analytics & Commercial Excellence junior specialist, the candidate will focus on two main areas of activity:

Data Management & Business Intelligence (Tableau software)Maintenance of existing reports in TableauCreation of new dashboards in TableauProvide support to Tableau users, solving issues and providing continuous trainingWork closely with Business Units to understand their needs and support them with relevant analysisWork closely with the Company IT global team to leverage global capabilitiesManage and coordinate platform development according to Company CRM global team guidanceProvide support to Field Force colleagues, solving issues and providing technical supportEnsure data accuracy and proper platform usage while identifying improvement areasThe profile will become a reference point within the A&CE team for reporting, data analysis, and data management, and will serve as a reference point within the commercial organization for CRM activities.

COMPETENCIES: Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and PowerPointAdvanced knowledge of Data Modelling and Data Management (Aggregate, Join, Append tables to create databases)Strong analytical mindset: understand business needs, identify relevant data, and create analyses to generate insightsBasic SQL knowledge and familiarity with Salesforce platform would be considered a plusREQUIREMENTS: Good interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with individuals from various departmentsGood communication skills, both orally and in writingProject management skills such as planning, prioritization, objective setting, and meeting managementSelf-starter, able to learn quickly and multi-task to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment of changing prioritiesProblem-solving skillsTYPE OF CONTRACT: Starting with a temporary contract for 1 yearChemical ContractIQVIA reserves the right to evaluate candidates with domicile/residence and work experience/study that meet the open request requirements.
