Junior Business Planner

**About the role**:
In the food delivery business it is all about planning and forecasting. With an accurate demand forecast the right number of people can be hired, enough bikes and bags can be ordered and a solid work planning of our couriers can be made.
You will work closely with our various stakeholders across the organization, forecasting and supporting our business operations by diving into operational planning and driving improvements into our operations. You can expect a high level of entrepreneurial spirit and within a close team working hard on a shared goal: being the most successful food delivery company in the world.
You'll enjoy a high degree of autonomy and the freedom to be creative and forward-thinking.
**These are some of the key ingredients to this role**:
- Analysing KPIs as well as tracking the daily/weekly and monthly business and adjusting accordingly
- Preparing forecasts and demand planning at the city level
- Acting as a strategic advisor in monitoring progress towards KPIs, and providing actionable insights for performance improvement
- Building dashboards & reports to track and monitor our operational processes
- Collaborating closely with local stakeholders to refine local strategies and ensure alignment with company objectives;
- Taking ownership of business intelligence initiatives, becoming a true point of contact for all related stakeholder
- Working alongside your business planning and operational planning colleagues locally and globally to drive an aligned strategy.
**What will you bring to the table?
- At least 1 year of related work experience;
- Proficiency in data analysis and data analysis tools (Excel and Tableau); and subsequently presentation skills (e. g. Powerpoint);
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret complex data and identify trends;
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills;
- Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment;
- Strategic thinking and the ability to translate insights into actionable plans to drive results;
- Fluent in English (written & spoken), Italian is a plus.
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Statistics, Engineering, Economics, Business or related field is a big plus
**It would be also nice to have**:
- Previous experience in planning, forecasting, budgeting and reporting
- Previous experience in logistics or operations
