In the food delivery business it is all about planning and forecasting.

With an accurate demand forecast the right number of people can be hired, enough bikes and bags can be ordered and of course a solid work planning of our couriers can be made.

The Junior Business Planner plays a crucial role in this process.

Working together with the City Operations Managers, the planning team, recruitment and the global forecasting team, the Junior Business Planner is a spider in the web.

Your daily work includes:

- Responsible for the operational (short term) planning of the order delivery and courier demand in some cities in Italy

- Analysing KPIs as well as tracking the daily business and adjusting accordingly

- Preparing forecasts, demand planning

- Establishing and maintaining relationships with different stakeholders in the organisation

- Offering advice on a strategic level to City Operations Managers

- Perform ad-hoc analysis to improve city performance

- Good MS Excel/Google Sheets skills

- Excellent analytical skills and numerical reasoning

- Organisational understanding: Ability to connect data with real live operations

- Fluency in English
