WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

For our Iveco Defence Vehicles and Astra business units, we are looking for a highly motivated Junior Buyer to join our dynamic Purchasing Department.

The role offers the opportunity to excel in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct supplier scouting and market research to identify potential partners and opportunities. Manage orders in accordance with established purchasing procedures. Draft and review contracts in conjunction with internal teams. Monitor and ensure progress of projects within area of responsibility. Work closely with the Legal Department to support the drafting of contracts for tenders and services. Prepare detailed analysis and presentations to support decision making. Provide regular reports to management on purchasing activities and project status. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a technical field. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work as part of a team. Willingness to travel nationally and internationally. Master's degree in engineering, preferably mechanical engineering. Previous experience in a modern industrial environment, even at entry level. Basic knowledge of project management and/or purchasing functions. Ability to read technical drawings. Familiarity with integrated management systems (SAP). We are looking for a proactive and committed individual who wants to contribute to our success and grow within the company.
