Joining our European Purchasing team you will have the opportunity to experience yourself in suppliers management, assisting in the definition and driving the implementation of a mid/long term strategic purchasing plan for the components assigned. You'll perform the best targets in terms of quality, timing and prices in the purchasing and procurement of the components assigned, guaranteeing Product Development and Production flow continuity. As Junior Buyer, you will support the Commodity Manager in:Implementing the strategic purchasing plan defined for the assigned commodityDeveloping and implementing new purchasing strategies and processesPerforming operational purchasing for the direct and subcontracted demands, including RFQs, awarding and contract process, support for proper payment to suppliers, risk management in the supply chain, acting as point of contact for delivery and quality issues. Managing contract negotiations, aimed at the optimization of procurement costs in cooperation with the related cross-functional teamsAssessing the market conditions and preparing accurate price forecasts. Job ProfileQualifications and knowledge:Bachelor/Master Degree in Business Administration/EngineeringAt least 1-2 years of experience within Purchasing DepartmentFormer experience in negotiating contract agreements is highly recommendedFluent English, both written and spokenMS Office proficiencyKnowledge of Sap ERP application will be a plusSkills and capabilities:Interpersonal communication and presentation skills are the basisWillingness to learn and drill down the subjects of the categoryAnalytical and goal oriented attitudeExcellent verbal and written communication skills, including making presentationsWhat we offer:Dynamic Environment: Work in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
