Mama Florence, Le Baccanti's Cooking School, a renowned culinary school specializing in amateur cooking classes, entertainment, and team-building events, is growing and seeking an additional very well organized, dynamic bilingual chef to assist our head and resident chefs and team.

This multifaceted role involves organizing and conducting cooking classes, managing the reception, overseeing space and maintenance, and handling stock.

This position is ideal for candidates who are passionate about Italian cuisine and excel in a fast-paced, interactive environment.

Key Responsibilities: Assist in organizing and conducting a variety of cooking classes. Deliver engaging and informative cooking classes, providing a memorable experience for participants. Participate in the preparation and execution of show cooking, entertainment, and team-building events for companies. Manage the reception area, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests. Oversee space management, maintenance, procedures, and stock levels. Collaborate closely with the head chefs and team to ensure smooth operation of all activities. Language Proficiency: Must possess an excellent level of English, capable of sustaining fluent and pleasant conversations.

Proficiency in Italian is also required for foreign candidates. Culinary Experience: Proven experience in cooking within the hotel/restaurant industry, along with specific culinary training. Sociable Customer-Focused Nature: Enthusiasm for interacting with people, being welcoming and sharing knowledge, dedicated to providing exceptional quality and service to our guests. Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational abilities with a strong sense of order, cleanliness, and procedures is a number one MUST. Operational Awareness: Ability to focus on operational priorities and needs without losing sight of them. Personable and Proactive: Proactive approach, and a positive, cooperative attitude, especially in problem-solving. Team Player: Strong skills in teamwork and collaboration. Entertainment Skills: A propensity for creating a playful and fun atmosphere during show cooking and team-building events, without compromising order and procedure. Monday to Saturday hours according to weekly or bi-weekly schedule. Generally 6 hours per shift with 1 possible double shift. Holiday availability required, but generally, the business tries to remain closed on Sundays and major holidays. Indicative benchmark salary 22-24K Ral to be discussed based on experience.
