An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Junior Consultant to join our Health and Sciences Department in the Rome Office, which is part of Ramboll's Environment & Health Division.
This group consists of like-minded individuals who are passionate about Environment, Health, Safety and Sustainability and assisting Ramboll's clients with their most challenging problems.
To succeed in this role, you must have an excellent knowledge of European chemicals regulation (REACH) and, excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
A certain percentage of smart-working will be allowed, however a minimum presence in the office will be required.
The role may also require work trips across the country.

You will join our Rome Office
As our new Junior Consultant you will be part of our successful team composed by geologists, engineers, environmental scientists, chemists, biologists, etc.
working together in an international network for a variety of projects regarding mainly contaminated site management, expert services, permitting, due diligence, impact assessment, water treatment, health and safety, climate risk and sustainability.
You will contribute to a sustainable future in an open, collaborative and empowering culture.
The job will require you to:
- Support the execution of Health Sciences-related projects focused on compliance with European chemicals legislation:
- professional and technical preparation of registration/registration dossiers in the areas of REACH/CLP
- management of registration/registration processes in close coordination with our clients and national and European authorities
- Prepare and submit requests for notifications (C&L Inventory, Poison Center Notifications, SCIP Database)
- Work closely with our international Team within the Health and Sciences Spearhead

For this role, we believe your starting point is:
- Scientific background (Degree in Chemistry, CTF and/or Biotechnology)
- Master's degree in Management of Chemicals (REACH and CLP)
- Excellent knowledge of the REACH Regulation and other pieces of legislation (i. e.
CLP, Biocidal Product Regulation, etc)
- Optimal knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Good knowledge of working in IUCLID6

- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work in a collaborative and team-based environment, and able to build positive working relationships with colleagues and clients
- Well organised, able to work under pressure and prioritise own workload with mínimal supervision
- Good English communication skills, both oral and written
- Competent and efficient report writing skills
