**Role Overview

As a **Junior Data Scientist, **you will be responsible for automating marketing campaigns, analyzing large and complex datasets, and conceiving predictive models and AI algorithms that will be used to optimize the marketing and customer acquisition strategies in Satispay.

Your mission:

- ** Design and maintain automated solutions**. Develop and manage systems to optimize marketing channels, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness across campaigns.

- ** Leverage growth hacking (e. g. , generative AI)**. Use innovative techniques to rapidly test and implement strategies that drive user acquisition, retention, and revenue growth.

- ** Lead innovative marketing channels (e. g. , Member-get-member)**. Use AI to enhance marketing initiatives.

- ** Identify machine learning opportunities**. Find ways to incorporate machine learning into our processes to enhance offerings and improve outcomes.

- ** Analyze complex data sets**. Uncover hidden patterns and insights that inform business strategies and decision-making.

- ** Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models**. Solve business challenges, forecast customer behavior, and optimize marketing resource allocation to support growth.

- ** Design and run experiments**. Test hypotheses and evaluate the impact of new features to inform product development and improvements.

- ** Collaborate with cross-functional teams**. Build data infrastructure and extract insights to drive product and design decisions.

- ** Stay current with industry trends**. Continuously update knowledge of the latest developments in software development, machine learning, and data science to ensure best practices are followed.

Your ideal profile:

- ** Proven experience. **You have 1-2+ years of working experience in Data Science, with a focus on machine learning (a strong background in statistical modeling is a plus).

- ** Expertise in programming. ** You have strong programming skills in Python, with expertise in machine learning libraries such as Scikit-learn, PyTorch, and TensorFlow, as well as proficiency in causal inference methods to drive data-driven insights.

- ** Problem-solving. ** You are skilled in addressing loosely defined problems, deriving meaningful answers, and providing actionable insights.

- ** Detail-oriented and communicative. ** You have a maniacal attention to detail and enjoy executing complex projects. You can communicate in a structured and convincing manner, adapting your style to build trust positively and professionally with various stakeholders.

- ** Passion for fintech or startup environments. ** You are enthusiastic about working in dynamic, innovative settings.

- ** Language proficiency. ** You are fluent in Italian and English.
