We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled data scientist to join our team at Transcrime and Crime&tech.

**What You Will Do**:

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement machine learning algorithms to address various challenges related to the analysis of large datasets.

- Design and execute predictive models to uncover patterns and relationships within crime data.

- Conduct in-depth data analysis and interpretation, providing valuable insights for informed decision-making in the fields of illicit markets, anticorruption, and anti-financial crime.

- Collaborate closely with team members to conceptualize, design, and implement innovative technological solutions aimed at enhancing crime control measures.

- Stay abreast of advancements in machine learning and big data technologies, incorporating relevant methodologies into ongoing projects.

- Communicate findings and insights effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

**Basic Requirements**:

- Coding skills in R and Python

- Experience with machine learning and AI methods

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Proficiency in presenting findings and insights effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders through written reports and oral presentations.

- Excellent teamwork skills

**Preferred Requirements**:

- Experience with the extraction, organization, and analysis of unstructured information

- Experience in working with APIs

- Experience in technical and scientific writing

- Good knowledge of English

**Salary and Contract**:

The workplace will be located in Milan city centre, Via San Vittore 43, with the possibility of remote working.
