Among the European leaders in Enterprise Risk Management and Wealth & Asset Management solutions, Prometeia is looking for a Junior Developer with a versatile approach to programming, to support the Data & Analytics team in the development of innovative data-driven solutions. The role involves activities ranging from the creation and maintenance of ETL pipelines for data management and transformation, to the design and implementation of tools for advanced data processing, offering a key contribution to the continuous improvement of data-driven processes and applications. RESPONSIBILITIES: ETL Pipeline Creation: Design, develop, and optimize pipelines for data extraction, transformation, and loading, ensuring efficiency and reliabilityDevelopment of Data Analysis Tools: Contribute to the creation of calculation libraries and custom tools for data processing and modelingAPI Implementation: Design and develop RESTful APIs to enable integration and secure access to data from other systems or applicationsCollaboration with the Data & Analytics Team: Support colleagues in implementing scalable, data-driven solutions by understanding their needs and proposing innovative approachesMaintenance and Improvement of Existing Solutions: Test, document, and optimize implementations to ensure robustness, scalability, and high performanceExploring New Technologies: Contribute to business innovation by adopting cutting-edge tools and methodologies for data managementPython Knowledge: Experience in Python for developing data-oriented applications and automationsSQL Proficiency: Expertise in SQL for querying, manipulating, and managing dataProblem-Solving Attitude and Rapid Learning Ability: Ability to learn new technologies quickly and solve problems effectivelyTeamwork and Good Communication Skills: Ability to collaborate within a team and communicate effectively EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Master's degree with good grades in Computer Engineering, computer science, economics/finance, statistics, engineering, mathematics is requiredKnowledge of Python for developing data-oriented applications and automation. Proficiency in SQL for querying, manipulating, and managing data. Problem-solving attitude and ability to quickly learn new technologies.
