CEO at Space Products and Innovation (Techstars) Job purpose The junior embedded software developer will be part of SPiN's software development team.

He/she will support developing, implementing, and maintaining drivers, APIs, and software on MA61C products.

This includes designing plug-and-play functionalities for new subsystems, improving the existing run time, and validating and verifying the new functionalities.

Duties and responsibilities Embedded software development Development of embedded C++ in space-borne processors Development of functions for the API in C++ Write test software, scripts for functional tests, HiL tests, and hardware-software integration testing.

Verify and validate the software to meet the project/customer requirements Support in Software design documentation and test plans Support in the execution of validation and verification plans, AIT, and HiL tests Support in generating requirements for the development of the MA61C-GUI upgrade Participation in solving interdisciplinary challenges Maintenance of software applications, including fixing bugs, making updates, and addressing issues Qualifications Masters in Electrical and Electronics, Computer Science, or similar 2+ years of experience in embedded programming C/C++, including projects or internships Experience working with Microprocessors and Micro Controllers Knowledge of real-time embedded OS, test tools, software and coding standards Experience working with Eclipse IDE Experience with RTEMS is an advantage Knowledge of digital interfaces such as UART, CAN, I2C, etc is advantageous.

Familiarity with the use of version control software Knowledge of MBSE tools is an advantage Seniority level Entry level
