About the Role As a Junior FPGA Designer at SIAE MICROELETTRONICA you will develop and implement algorithmic solutions to baseband problems (e. g. , packet processing, synchronization, etc. )

within the context of telecommunications networks.

You will focus on optimizing resource utilization and minimizing development time.

You will be joining a forward-thinking team, working with the latest in network technology and innovation and have the opportunity for continuous learning and career growth.

Responsibilities Identify efficient, implementable solutions to baseband challenges.

Define functional block specifications.

Develop and simulate logical circuits.

Implement functionalities on FPGA/ASIC, ensuring resource and timing compliance, followed by bench testing.

Develop embedded firmware functionalities and perform bench testing, where required.

Provide support for integration and bug fixes across other labs when necessary.

Key Requirements Master's degree in Electronics or Telecommunications Engineering or related fields.

At least 1-3 years of experience in hardware description languages (VHDL and/or Verilog) and FPGA/ASIC development environments.

Good command of English.

Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and Windows operating systems.

Solid problem-solving skills, communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of high-level programming languages (C, TCL, Python).

Knowledge of programmable logic technologies (AMD/Xilinx and/or Intel).

Knowledge of packet processing and phase/frequency synchronization in mobile operator networks.
