As a Junior Health & Safety Specialist, you will work closely with the H&S Manager to ensure compliance with regulations, support day-to-day safety activities, and help maintain a culture of safety across our production and office spaces at Castelleone site. Responsibilities:Promote a safer working environment across the site by supporting and contributing to health and safety initiatives. Assist in ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and Outokumpu's internal standards, including the implementation of appropriate risk mitigation and control measures. Support day-to-day health and safety activities to drive continuous improvement in safety performance. Contribute to risk assessments, audits, and reviews, ensuring proactive monitoring and management of health and safety risks within the organization. Assist in investigating incidents and accidents, producing timely corrective and preventive action plans. Record and acknowledge health and safety concerns, tracking and monitoring progress of actions and resolutions. Organize and coordinate health and safety audits, ensuring reports are distributed to relevant stakeholders. Prepare health and safety reports as required, highlighting key issues and improvements. Support training initiatives and contribute to the development of the team to enhance safety awareness and performance across the site. Requirements:A strong passion for health and safety, with a proactive attitude toward promoting a safety culture within the organization. Open-minded and communicative, with a willingness to learn the role and grow within the organization. Upper secondary education is required; university-level education in a relevant field is preferred. Preferred 1-2 years of experience in health and safety or related fields, or relevant experience. Fluent in Italian (mandatory) & B2 level in English, with acceptable communication skills. Basic computer skills and proficiency in using office software applications. Ability to work well within a team and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Why Outokumpu?
