The Dedalus IVD Business Unit has an exciting opportunity for Junior Marketing Executive - Events, to join the IVD Marketing Team.

The Junior Marketing Executive will be responsible for overseeing and managing the logistics of selected live and digital events and conferences and for providing customer service support to delegates and speakers.

This is an opportunity to join a dynamic and enterprising team delivering live in-person events in multiple locations worldwide, and a range of online events.

Key accountabilities:

- To assist the IVD Marketing Head in the delivery of conferences and events in line with the marketing strategy to help reach the BU goals and objectives.

In particular, work under the Marketing Head supervision, to:

- Research, create and maintain a plan for the best conferences we should exhibit at

- Secure optimal booths and speaker slots at selected conferences, negotiating competitive rates with conference organizers

- Work with selected Conference organizers and staging suppliers to arrange relevant technology and branding at events

- Organize relevant Collaterals and marketing material at events

- Project manage our events, liaising with conference organisers and partner companies as well as: Dedalus BUs, local Marcomms, Central Marketing.

- Assist and support speakers and delegates (this can include booking travel, accommodation, etc )

- Organise post-event administration (including evaluation analysis)

- Track the impact and ROI of events.

- Record expenditure and income, and maintain event budgets

- Work with venues and catering suppliers to meet our needs

- Organize relevant technology and event platforms for online events

**Profile**:

- Experience within B2B conferences/events - Desired, not mandatory

- The ability to work well within a team and individually, using your initiative and autonomy

- Solid organisational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking

- A committed work ethic, with enthusiasm to develop your skills and a drive to learn

- Attention to detail with an enquiring mind

- Excellent interpersonal skills

- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment

- The ability to adapt to changes in the work environment
