We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Marketplace Specialist to join our team at ARAD.
As a Junior Marketplace Specialist, you will work closely with the Senior Marketplace Expert and other team members to support the analysis, definition and implementation of the Marketplace Strategy for our clients looking to develop and/or optimize their presence and performance on various online marketplaces such as Amazon, Zalando, Farfetch, 24s, and others.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in marketplace omnichannel management, strategic consultancy, and digital commerce within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
WHAT YOU WILL DO Marketplace Support: Assist the Senior Marketplace Expert in implementing marketplace strategies and ensuring alignment with client objectives.
Support day-to-day management of client marketplace accounts, including order processing, inventory management, and performance monitoring.
Collaborate with clients to help implement tailored marketplace strategies that align with their business goals.
Assist in managing product catalogs, ensuring content accuracy, optimization, and effective listing strategies to enhance discoverability.
Contribute to the development and implementation of strategies aimed at improving brand visibility and sales performance on various marketplaces.
Market Research Analysis: Conduct basic market research and data analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges within the online marketplace landscape.
Assist in gathering insights to optimize product listings, pricing strategies, and promotional activities based on market trends.
Participate in monitoring and analyzing marketplace performance metrics, providing preliminary insights to the Senior Marketplace Expert.
Operational Coordination: Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to streamline operational processes and resolve issues.
Support in maintaining accurate and up-to-date client account information, ensuring seamless integration with overall ecommerce operations.
Assist in the execution of operational activities as per the project's strategy and scope, under the guidance of senior team members.
Relationship Building: Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide support as needed.
Assist in fostering relationships with marketplace partners, acting as a support contact under the guidance of senior team members.
Engage with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and support for marketplace initiatives, including marketing and customer service.
Reporting Performance Tracking: Assist in monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) and preparing regular reports to track marketplace performance.
Contribute to data-driven insights and actionable recommendations to optimize client performance and drive sales growth.
Support the Senior Marketplace Expert in presenting performance reports to clients and adjusting tactics as needed.
WHAT YOU MUST HAVE Basic understanding of digital commerce and a strong interest in online marketplaces.
Familiarity with digital tools and platforms, particularly those used for data analysis and reporting (e. g. , Office Suite, Google Suite).
Strong communication skills, with fluency in English (both written and spoken).
Collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
Proactive approach to learning and problem-solving, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Basic analytical skills with an interest in learning more about market analysis and strategy.
Flexibility and adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving work environment.
BONUS POINTS FOR Experience with online marketplaces such as Amazon, Zalando, or Farfetch.
Previous internship or experience in ecommerce or a related field.
Interest in the fashion industry, especially in the luxury segment.
Understanding of market analysis and strategic planning concepts.
A basic understanding of financial analysis and modeling.
