Jefferson Wells is looking for a Medical Advisor (temporary contract) on behalf of a multinational company with offices in Rome.

Main Responsibilities and Accountabilities: Within the Medical Department, provides scientific expertise in his/her therapeutic area in order to carry out/support the medical, medico-marketing, market access, and regulatory activities defined for his/her products. He/she is the medical expert and responsible for the products of his/her responsibility, organizing and managing the medical activities on these products. Collaborates and gives Medical support to the other functions on the products of his/her responsibility, participation to the brand teams, and is the point of contact for the Global Medical team for the products of his/her responsibility. Works with the Medical Science Liaison (MSL), Medical Affairs Lead, and Clinical Research Associate (CRA) in compliance with the action plans defined by the Medical Department (Medical Plan). Contributes to brainstorming on and implementation of the Medical Plan for his/her franchise with the Medical Head. Ensures scientific monitoring and identifies development opportunities for products of his/her responsibility. Provides medical expertise for their product(s) for the LSO (or their substitutes) as well as the Medical Scientific Liaison (MSL) and those responsible for Medical Information. Develops the scientific image and reputation of the business for all representatives concerned, particularly for Doctors, Scientific Societies, Pharmacists, and Patient Associations. Proposes, conceives of, and is responsible for the implementation of clinical trials (Partnerships) and PMS within the scope of the legislation and Good Clinical Practices; evaluates the proposal of IIS from HCPs. Ensures the correct performance of CSLB Global studies which are set up in Italian investigating centres. Applies the management strategy for KOL and OL, ensures that regular contact within the field is maintained with them.

Contributes to the organization and carrying out of meetings of experts. Collaborates with the Marketing, Market Access, and Sales Departments within the scope of their relations with the scientific community and the patient community which CSL Vifor is targeting. Gives training to MSL, KAM, and other functions for products of his/her responsibility.
