RINA is currently recruiting for a Junior Naval Engineer - Project Manager to join its office in Genoa or Rozzano within the Energy Engineering Solutions Division.
MissionAs a Plant Solutions Engineering Project Manager at RINA Consulting S. p. A. , you will play a crucial role in executing and leading projects to ensure deliverables are completed within specified deadlines, scope, and budget. Your mission will involve balancing project demands with the available resources and collaborating closely with clients and internal teams to achieve project success.
Key AccountabilitiesProject Management:
- Develop a comprehensive project plan outlining scope, objectives, and deliverables in alignment with business goals.
- Adjust project plans as necessary to address changes in scope, timeline, or resources, and communicate updates to stakeholders. Contract Management:
- Ensure all project activities comply with client contract terms and conditions, identifying and mitigating contract risks.
- Document any contract changes and obtain client approvals for modifications. Client Interaction:
- Act as the primary point of contact for the client, providing regular updates and addressing inquiries and concerns.
- Build strong client relationships, anticipate needs, and provide proactive support. Team Management:
- Coordinate task assignments with project engineers and Discipline Leaders to ensure optimal team utilization and performance.
- Monitor team progress, provide feedback, and foster collaboration within the team. Budget Management:
- Develop and track the project budget, identify cost-saving opportunities, and prepare budget variance reports for stakeholders. Risk Management:
- Develop a risk management plan, monitor risk factors, and engage stakeholders to implement mitigation strategies when necessary. Quality Assurance:
- Oversee quality control procedures, review project outputs, and conduct post-project reviews for continuous improvement. Documentation and Communication:
- Maintain accurate project documentation, ensure regular communication with stakeholders, and develop final project reports summarizing outcomes. EducationMaster's Degree in Naval Engineering or Energy Engineering
QualificationsInterest in the Project Management field; previous experience in an associate project management role is a plus. Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and work under tight deadlines. Certifications or coursework in project management, engineering processes, or technical fields are beneficial. Understanding of industry standards, safety regulations, and quality control processes relevant to the sector. Knowledge of project management principles, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource planning. Fluency in English and Italian.
