Activities To strengthen their team, we are seeking a Junior Operations Data Engineer (Chemical) to work alongside a skilled and international team.

This role is ideal for a motivated junior professional eager to grow in a technical and international environment, with a focus on process efficiency and sustainability.

Specifically, the candidate will be responsible for the following activities: - Assist in the design, implementation, and optimization of data acquisition systems to collect and integrate production and energy data.

- Support the evaluation and improvement of Operational Technology (OT) infrastructure in collaboration with IT, Cybersecurity, and production teams.

- Contribute to the development and maintenance of reporting solutions for production, utility, and material usage data to enhance operational efficiency and ESG reporting.

- Assist in managing and improving operational master data, ensuring data quality for materials and equipment.

- Support the monitoring and analysis of investments related to efficiency, emissions, energy use, and waste management.

- Participate in innovation and sustainability projects, ensuring compliance with product quality and safety standards.

Requirements - Degree in Chemical Engineering, or related fields.

- Proficiency in English.

- Strong organizational, proactive, and hands-on attitude.

- Excellent communication skills and availability to travel.

Nice to have: - Experience with SAP Material Master, PLM/PDM systems, or SCADA/PLC systems.

- Skills in PLC/HMI programming (e. g. , Siemens TIA portal).

- Familiarity with ESG regulations and cybersecurity standards (e. g. , Purdue model/IEC 62443).
