ActivitiesTo strengthen their team, we are seeking a Junior Operations Data Engineer (Chemical) to work alongside a skilled and international team. This role is ideal for a motivated junior professional eager to grow in a technical and international environment, with a focus on process efficiency and sustainability. Specifically, the candidate will be responsible for the following activities:Assist in the design, implementation, and optimization of data acquisition systems to collect and integrate production and energy data. Support the evaluation and improvement of Operational Technology (OT) infrastructure in collaboration with IT, Cybersecurity, and production teams. Contribute to the development and maintenance of reporting solutions for production, utility, and material usage data to enhance operational efficiency and ESG reporting. Assist in managing and improving operational master data, ensuring data quality for materials and equipment. Support the monitoring and analysis of investments related to efficiency, emissions, energy use, and waste management. Participate in innovation and sustainability projects, ensuring compliance with product quality and safety standards. RequirementsDegree in Chemical Engineering, or related fields. Proficiency in English. Strong organizational, proactive, and hands-on attitude. Excellent communication skills and availability to travel. Nice to have:Experience with SAP Material Master, PLM/PDM systems, or SCADA/PLC systems. Skills in PLC/HMI programming (e. g. , Siemens TIA portal). Familiarity with ESG regulations and cybersecurity standards (e. g. , Purdue model/IEC 62443). Location: MilanLe ricerche sono volte a candidati di entrambi i sessi, legge 903/77.
