Junior Project Manager Automotive
Position Overview**:
As a Junior Project Manager in Automotive R&D, you'll support the planning, coordination, and execution of projects within the automotive product development lifecycle.
Working closely with senior project managers, engineers, and cross-functional teams, you'll play a key role in ensuring project milestones are met, timelines are adhered to, and that project deliverables align with the company's quality standards.
This position offers a valuable learning experience in managing complex automotive projects, with opportunities for growth and development.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Assist senior project managers in planning, scheduling, and tracking project progress.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, including R&D, engineering, design, and production.
- Support in the preparation of project documentation, status reports, and presentations.
- Monitor project timelines, budgets, and deliverables to ensure alignment with project objectives.
- Conduct regular follow-ups on project tasks to identify potential risks or delays.
- Facilitate communication between stakeholders to ensure project goals are understood and met.
- Prepare meeting agendas, take notes, and ensure action items are followed through.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to optimize project processes and workflows.
- Assist in coordinating testing and validation activities to meet project quality standards.
- Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to manage resources, schedules, and material deliveries as needed.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1+ years of experience in project management or coordination; automotive experience is preferred.
- Basic understanding of automotive development processes and R&D principles.
- Familiarity with project management tools (e. g. , Microsoft Project, JIRA, or similar).
- Strong organizational, time-management, and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively within a team.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
**Preferred Skills**:
- Knowledge of automotive industry standards and regulations.
- Exposure to Agile or Lean project management methodologies.
- Basic understanding of automotive systems and vehicle components.
Contratto di lavoro: Tempo pieno, Tempo indeterminato
Retribuzione: €2. 500, 00 - €3. 500, 00 al mese
