Junior Project Manager

This role will be supporting the Head of Construction in the PMO function, focused around gathering, collating, and analyzing data and reports from all of the projects being constructed across Europe (1 GW) and offering logistical and administrative support to these project leaders.
The individual will need good organizational skills and ideally data analysis experience, as well as ideally some experience of project management (GAANT charts etc. ).
They will need good communication and organizational skills.
Their role will include working with all the different departments involved in supporting the construction of solar projects, including logistics, finance, legal, etc.
This is a support function across their entire European construction portfolio.
This role will probably suit a junior project manager looking to move into either a bigger company or the renewables industry, or someone who has good project planning experience already.
Key Responsibilities: Assist in managing renewable energy projects from development to completion.
Support project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management activities.
Coordinate with internal teams, stakeholders, and external contractors to ensure project milestones are met.
Monitor project progress and report updates to senior management and stakeholders.
Conduct research and support due diligence efforts for project feasibility and permitting.
Assist with documentation, contracts, and compliance requirements.
Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards.
Identify and escalate project risks and issues as necessary.
Participate in stakeholder meetings and provide administrative support.
Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Business, Project Management, or a related field.
1-3 years of experience in project management, preferably in the renewable energy sector.
Basic understanding of renewable energy technologies and industry regulations.
Proficiency in project management tools such as MS Project, Primavera, or similar.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to travel as required.
