YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES Project Management Receive, manage, track, and deliver language and translation projects Analyze client requests and requirements, create briefs & allocate workloads Prioritize and schedule translation assignments, set up workflows, and manage processes Manage projects in accordance with strict QA Review original copy, translations, and transcreations for quality against brief Identify areas of improvement in processes and services Bring your skills, motivation, and curiosity to the table Quality Control: u00b7 Conduct quality control on generative texts to uphold linguistic excellence and accuracy.

u00b7 Maintain a keen eye for detail to ensure outputs align with established standards Terminology Management u00b7 Maintain and align glossaries, term bases, and style guides to support consistent linguistic outputs Project Management Support: u00b7 Assist in basic project management tasks to facilitate the smooth execution of language and technology projects u00b7 Contribute to Machine Translation Post-Editing (MTPE) processes u00b7 Play a vital role in file formatting and preparation for various language tech tasks Machine Translation QA: u00b7 Perform quality assurance on machine-translated content to enhance overall translation quality u00b7 Collaborate with the team to implement improvements based on feedback and evaluation Vendor Management: u00b7 Evaluate and select new vendors involved in language-related projects u00b7 Build and maintain positive relationships with external vendorsu00a0 u00b7 Collaborate with vendors to ensure seamless communication and project coordination MUST-HAVE REQUIREMENTS: Bilingual/fully proficient in written and spoken English and Italian University degree Tech-savvy and tech-curious Interest in copywriting, E-commerce, transcription, localization, digital marketing Base knowledge of AI, chatbots, prompt engineering, and AI-generated texts Base knowledge of CAT tools and Machine Translation General knowledge of productivity software, applications, and file formats Excellent linguistic and numeracy skills Highly organized and detail-oriented Proactive decision-making and problem-solving skills Ability to multitask, set priorities, and coordinate complex projects Excellent communication, networking, and interpersonal skills Strong time management skills Ability to manage stress Personal Growth & Career oriented NICE-TO-HAVE REQUIREMENTS: Overseas work or study experience Translation, revision & post-editing experience & talent Proficient in a third language Multicultural background Diversity and Inclusion Maka is an equal-opportunity employer.
