Junior Quality Engineer Posting Date: 11 Feb 2025 City: Torino Location: Torino, Italy Contract Type: Permanent Division: Aerospace & Defence Level of experience: Intermediate RINA is currently recruiting for a Junior Quality Engineer to join its office within the Aerospace & Defence Division. Mission As a Junior Quality Engineer at RINA Consulting S. p. A. , you will play a key role in ensuring that production processes and products meet the highest quality standards. Your responsibilities will include inspecting production documents, conducting visual and physical inspections, verifying technical testing steps, managing non-conformities, supporting root cause analysis, and identifying client needs to drive business development initiatives. Key Accountabilities Production Document Verification: Check production documents such as work cycles, inventory lists, and data records for accuracy and completeness. Inspection Activities: Conduct General Visual Inspections (GVI) and perform physical checks to ensure product conformity. Equipment Calibration: Verify the availability and correct calibration status of production equipment to uphold high-quality standards. Technical Testing Verification: Ensure that each step of technical testing processes is executed correctly and meets specified requirements. Non-Conformity Management: Identify and address non-conformities, manage findings, support root cause identification for continuous improvement, and help identify client needs to support business development. Education Master's Degree in Engineering General or Management Engineering Qualifications 1-3 years of professional experience in quality engineering or a related field. Understanding of quality assurance and control principles. Experience with equipment calibration and technical testing processes. Knowledge of EN 9100 standards and First Article Inspection (FAI) requirements (optional). Familiarity with SAP QM module or similar quality management software (optional).
