Junior Reporting & Consolidation Specialist
Company: A multinational company with over 60 years of experience in the field of collections and partwork publications, specializing in the creation of unique products ranging from buildable models to educational publications for children. The company has developed over 2, 500 collections and models, collaborating with some of the largest global franchises, including Disney, Marvel, Star Wars, Fast & Furious, Transformers, Mattel, Formula 1, and Playmobil. The products are distributed in over 20 markets worldwide, through retail channels and subscriptions. With a global presence and a diverse team of over 300 employees from 15 different nationalities, the company operates in various locations across Italy, Spain, the United Kingdom, Poland, Portugal, the USA, Japan, and Hong Kong. Overall Objective: The objective of this role is to systematically produce a comprehensive set of information and analyses regarding the performance of the company, which will be presented to top management and the Board of Directors. This role also requires collaboration with Controllers/CFOs of subsidiaries and HQ managers. Key Responsibilities: As a Junior Reporting & Consolidation Specialist, you will support and cooperate with the line manager in various reporting and controlling activities, including: Monthly and Year-End Consolidation : Focus on strategic management financial KPIs, ensuring accurate and timely consolidation of financial data. Budget, Plan, and Forecast Consolidation : Assist with the consolidation and review of budget, financial plans, and forecasts to ensure alignment with organizational goals. Group Reporting : Draft and deliver the Groups financial reporting to stakeholders, ensuring clarity and accuracy. Communication of Guidelines : Share monthly closure guidelines and schedules with local controllers and other stakeholders, aligning with top management decisions. Stakeholder Communication : Collaborate with international teams, ensuring smooth communication for the consolidation process (e. g. , intercompany transaction reconciliation). Project Support & Ad-Hoc Analysis : Contribute to projects and provide support for ad-hoc analyses as requested by the management. Stakeholders: Business controllers (from both Milan office and international locations such as Japan) CFO and top management Team members from other functions, particularly in administration Consultants and auditors for ad-hoc projects IT Tools: Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint) Tagetik SAP Oracle Background: Academic Qualifications : Degree in Economics & Finance Professional Experience : Minimum of 6 months of professional experience or internship experience in a similar role, preferably within finance and accounting.
