What you will do**:

- Support research projects related to a variety of crimes (financial crime, organized crime, illicit trafficking of firearms, illicit drug trafficking, violent crimes, etc.

)

- Conduct quantitative analysis, including data collection, organization, and statistical analysis of structured and unstructured information from various sources

- Conduct qualitative analysis, including case study analysis, literature reviews, and drafting questionnaires and surveys

- Conduct interviews with selected experts and stakeholders (e. g. , law enforcement agencies, judicial authorities, domain experts)

- Support the training of selected experts and stakeholders in the crime analysis/crime prevention field

- Support the drafting of research proposals

- Assist in the administration of research projects, including relationships with project partners and funding agencies

**Basic requirements**:

- Good knowledge of quantitative methods, including inferential analysis and data analytics

- Strong understanding of qualitative methods, including case study analysis and survey design

- Fluency in English, both oral and written

- Interest in the analysis of crime trends and the interplay between crime and socio-economic dynamics

**Preferred requirements**:

- Proficiency in Python, R, STATA, SPSS, or other data analysis software

- Previous knowledge of crime analysis/crime trends

- Previous experience in drafting research reports, policy papers, and scientific publications

- Fluency in Italian, and/or in a third language

- Ability with public relations
