**The Position
**JUNIOR SOMMELIER
**Main purpose**:
The Junior Sommelier helps the restaurant team to ensure the best Guests' experience is provided through a flawless service.
We expect personalised interaction with our Guests in order to deliver them the best culinary experience, whilst recommending and up-selling wines to pair with their meals.
Reports to: Maitre.
**Main duties & responsibilities**:
- Support in preparing the wine lists, purchase orders, inventory and requisitions;
- Assist the F&B Manager in monitoring stock levels and sales and suggest actions to improve sales;
- Cooperate with F&B Manager to develop special events about wine for our Guests;
- Providing an excellent and personalized Guest experience anticipating their needs and handle complaints;
- Keep the wine canteen clean and updated;
- Support in drafting monthly inventory of wine and all related beverage.
- Support the Restaurant team in order to deliver the service.

**Other requirements**:
- Fluent in English and Italian;
- Passion and studies in sommelierie;
- Knowledge of Italian cuisine and Italian & International wines;
- Ambition to grow;
- Flexibility.
