Junior Sports Marketing Manager

The Junior Sports Marketing Manager is the main person in charge relationships and activities for HBS Sports and Training partners with the aim of creating positive brand image and sustainable and profitable business through an adequate Sports Marketing portfolio of individuals (athletes, clubs and associations).
He/she will be supporting the execution of the sports marketing strategic plan for the South Cluster.
This position plays a key role in the way the adidas brand is perceived by the Sports Industry in Italy involving all stakeholders.
It is essential to build up strong relationships with all partners part of the existing portfolio but also with the people involved in the day to day activities of partners such as coaches, agents and families and to utilize those relationships to achieve service excellence and perfect endorsement of all adidas equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and manage a brand-relevant local partner portfolio to support sport marketing activation plans in accordance with Brand Activation Team / wider Marketing team
- Manage the respective Sports Marketing budget in accordance/guidance with Senior Manager Sports Marketing
- Negotiate directly with partners fully complying to the internal guidelines
- Manage all partner-related day-to-day needs in accordance to the endorsement agreement.
- Manage category local partner budget, Sports Marketing MWB and provide athletes with qualitative service to ensure the Brand images are well represented.
- Monitor and report on category local opportunities and trends to provide relevant sports marketing activities.
- Plan and engage all sports marketing athletes so that they can showcase seasonal key concepts to increase awareness and help maximising product sales.
- Track and monitor partner performance results and reflect them into marketing plans to maximize future activation opportunities.
- Support and collaborate with Omni-channel marketing team for store activation.
- Secure sports marketing partners for the future, based on BU marketing working budget guidance.
- Support the local wider marketing team in executing sport events
- To manage all reports as an integrated team by setting team objectives, targets and guidelines
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
He / She must be extremely well organized with a strong empathy and passion towards Sports.
Additionally, the individual must possess / be:
- 3 years working experience in the respective area
- Resolute and a good problem solver
- Good English, additional languages are beneficial
- Strong Interpersonal skills
- Driven to succeed and deliver against expectations
- Strong organization and coordination skills
- Ability to manage strong personalities
- Ability to learn quickly and resourcefully
- Ability to be multi-tasking and effectively prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
