WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

The Environment Social Governance (ESG) & Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) requirements play a significant role within Rheinmetall.

In this regard, the implementation of a new Supply Chain Sustainability Strategy is becoming essential inside Purchasing organization to satisfy all the internal and external Stakeholders.

For this reason we are looking for a Junior Supplier Sustainability Project Manager, located in Livorno, who will work for our Purchasing department at Rheinmetall Division Sensors & Actuators (M/F/d).

Key responsability:

- Contribute to develop the global purchasing sustainability strategy

- Create methods and processes to support the sustainability strategy

- Conduct the project coordination on the roll-out of new tools/software to manage the ESG topics

- Support the implementation of CO2 reduction and sustainability efforts along the global purchasing organization

- Work closely with other departments and divisions to continuously comply to new regulations and requirements

- Organize and moderate the Division Sustainability Steering Committee inside the global Purchasing Organization

- Track, monitor and analyze the Suppliers CSR Rating and manage the related progress

WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE

- Educated to degree level in industrial engineering, economics or a comparable qualification

- Excellent communication skills (English required)

- Program management skills

- Interest in digitalization technologies and digital procurement

- Good interpersonal and organization skills

- Reliability, flexibility, precision

- Determination, energy, enthusiasm

- Team player

- Availability for national and international trips
